The Madlanga Commission revealed alleged connections between ANC businessman Brown Mogotsi, sidelined police minister Senzo Mchunu, and crime figure Vusimuzi Matlala. Evidence showed Mogotsi relayed messages between Mchunu and Matlala, including advance knowledge of the disbandment of the Political Killings Task Team.
