The National Tracking and Tracing Task Team seized 226 firearms from a private security company for violating the Firearms Control Act. The operation revealed serious contraventions, including unlicensed firearms, leading to an arrest. SAPS spokesperson Lt Col Amanda Van Wyk confirmed the findings during the operation conducted over several weeks.
