The South African Police Service received over one million applications for its Basic Police Development Learning Programme, with 334,765 being graduates and 500,000 women. Gauteng had the most applicants, followed by KwaZulu-Natal. Preference will be given to graduates in law, IT, and criminology, along with matriculants with a university entry qualification and a driver’s license.
