A 39-year-old taxi driver was arrested for allegedly hitting a runner during the Soweto Marathon. The driver attempted to flee but was caught and tested for alcohol, registering 0.26 mg/l, well above the legal limit. The injured 45-year-old runner was taken to the hospital, and the driver faces charges for DUI and traffic violations.
