The National Dialogue falters — there may be a better way

Foundations representing former presidents and struggle heroes have pulled out of the National Convention, potentially saving South Africa from a dangerous dialogue that could empower those seeking to harm the country. Despite the failure of the National Dialogue, leaders must still find ways to make significant changes. The withdrawal was based on principle, with former president Thabo Mbeki’s foundation among those that have exited.
