US President Trump threatens 25% tariff on India and higher tariffs on countries buying Russian oil to pressure Moscow on Ukraine war. US and Europe still trade with Russia, but at reduced levels. India calls tariff increase unjustified, as other nations also do business with Russia. US imported $3 billion from Russia in 2024, while EU imported $41.9 billion.
