Nedbank has joined South Africa’s Home Affairs’ digital initiative to enhance access to Smart ID cards and passport services, becoming the seventh bank to participate. The goal is to partner with 100 banks by 2025, expanding from 30 to 1,000 branches. This initiative aims to streamline services and improve access, especially in rural areas.
