Mozambique agrees to reinstatement of four-and-a-half-year force majeure period for TotalEnergies’ LNG concession – Lusa

The Mozambican Government reinstated a four-and-a-half-year suspension of the LNG megaproject in Cabo Delgado, rejecting TotalEnergies’ ten-year concession extension request. The resolution ensures a recalculation of the development term and mandates an audit of expenses incurred during the suspension due to terrorist attacks.
