The Golden Acre Shopping Centre in Cape Town has been sold for R781 million, as announced by the Competition Commission. Opened in 1979, it features around 100 retailers and serves as a key commuter hub. New owners, Putirex (Pty) Ltd, plan to redevelop the centre and its iconic tower to enhance the shopping experience.
