Philela Angela Tafeni, 29, was arrested by the Hawks for using a fake matric certificate to earn over R2 million from the Eastern Cape government. Tafeni allegedly secured employment with a fraudulent certificate and earned wages over nine years. She appeared in court after her arrest in East London.
