New York woman finds 2.30-carat diamond in Arkansas state park, uses it as engagement ring. Micherre Fox, 31, discovered the colorless diamond after a month-long hunt at Crater of Diamonds state park. It was the third largest of 366 diamonds found this year. The park allows public diamond hunting in its 37-acre volcanic crater. Visitors can keep any rocks or minerals they find.
