A school principal in Gauteng was stabbed during a clash between students from West Ridge High School and Hoërskool Roodepoort. The incident stemmed from a previous altercation and escalated when students sought revenge. The principal of Hoërskool Roodepoort was injured while trying to intervene. Three students from Hoërskool Roodepoort are receiving medical care. The Gauteng MEC for Education has condemned the violence.
