Israeli military claimed to have killed a Hamas cell leader posing as an Al Jazeera journalist in an airstrike on Gaza City. Anas Al Sharif, along with four other Al Jazeera journalists, died in the strike near Shifa Hospital. Israel said Al Sharif was responsible for rocket attacks against Israelis, but a UN expert had warned of his danger due to reporting from Gaza.
