More than 100 artworks from the Johannesburg Art Gallery, including pieces by Kentridge and Van Gogh, have returned from South Korea. They will be displayed at the Standard Bank Gallery during the G20 Summit. Restoration plans for the gallery are underway, with a reopening scheduled for July 2027 after years of neglect and mismanagement.
