Mashatile says Ramaphosa’s comments commending DA-led municipalities in WC were ‘quoted out of context’

Deputy President Paul Mashatile clarified that President Cyril Ramaphosa’s remarks on the performance of DA-led Western Cape municipalities were misinterpreted. He emphasized that Ramaphosa was highlighting clean audits, not service delivery, and encouraged ANC councillors to learn from each other, without praising the DA’s governance.
