Advocacy group Women for Change condemned a driver who injured two protesters during a GBV-Femicide shutdown in Cape Town. The driver, charged with reckless driving, remains at large. The gathering honored Davidene Witbooi, killed on Women’s Day, and included a silent lie-in. One victim, a 70-year-old woman, sustained minor injuries.
