President Cyril Ramaphosa supported the entry of 153 Palestinians into South Africa after they were stranded at OR Tambo International Airport for 13 hours. Initially denied entry due to passport issues, they have now been granted temporary refugee status for 90 days, with Ramaphosa citing their dire circumstances as the reason for the exception.
