Zimbabwe has compensated 85 European farmers affected by its land reform program, with 10 fully paid. The government allocated $20 million for BIPPA-protected farmers, while 740 non-BIPPA claims totaling $587.4 million were approved. Economist Shingirirai Mashura noted that compensating farmers could enhance Zimbabwe’s economy and global relations.
