No witnesses, no suspects and no foreign DNA in Cwecwe’s rape case

The rape case of seven-year-old Cwecwe in Pretoria remains unsolved with no witnesses or suspects. Medical examination found no foreign DNA on the victim. Three people of interest will provide DNA samples. Police admit mishandling the case, and the NPA declined prosecution due to insufficient evidence. The case is now with the Family Violence, Child Protection, and Sexual Offences Unit for further investigation.
