The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) has decided not to prosecute anyone in the rape case of a seven-year-old girl in Matatiele, citing insufficient evidence. Police found no foreign evidence on the minor, leading to public outrage over lack of assistance. NPA spokesperson Mthunzi Mhaga stated that after assessment, there was not enough evidence for a successful prosecution.
