Pilot killed in light aircraft accident in Pretoria East

A pilot died in a light aircraft crash in Pretoria East. The Volunteer Emergency Medical Response Unit responded to the incident, declaring the pilot dead on arrival. The SAPS and CAA will investigate the cause. In a separate incident, the body of missing man Eric Jones was found near his abandoned vehicle in Diepsloot, leading to a tragic end to the search.
