Prosecutors who botched Omotoso rape case to be called before inquiry

Prosecutors in the Timothy Omotoso rape case face inquiry by Chapter 9 institutions after botching the trial. The CRL, gender equality, and human rights commissions are investigating the acquittal of the Nigerian televangelist and two others on 32 counts. The South African Human Rights Commission plans to invite all involved in the trial to ascertain what went wrong and how to correct it.
