Rescue teams recover bodies of Durban family washed away in heavy rain

Four out of five people swept into a canal during heavy rain in Lamontville, south of Durban, were found dead. Disaster management teams recovered the bodies of two women at Brighton Beach and Ansteys Beach, and two children at Cuttings Beach. The fifth person’s body was spotted in the ocean. Heavy rainfall caused damage and flooding in the province, prompting warnings from officials.
