SA young chess masters head to Greece for Blitz Championship

Young chess prodigies Deauwin and Beauwin Rens, seven-year-old twins from George, Western Cape, are heading to Greece to represent South Africa at the World Youth Rapid and Blitz Championships. They have been playing chess since age two and have surpassed their father’s skills. Sponsors have stepped in to fund their trip after a donation call. Their father, Bradwin Rens, is their mentor and a chess instructor.
