A South African citizen, an English teacher, has tragically died in the Myanmar earthquake. The Department of International Relations and Cooperation confirmed the news, expressing condolences to the victim’s family. The 7.7 magnitude quake caused widespread destruction in Mandalay and affected 11 South African citizens.
