Finance Minister Enoch Godongwana confirms FSCA investigation into major banks’ transaction fees in South Africa. The investigation aims to assess fairness and transparency of fees, with observed disparities and lack of disclosure. FSCA published a conduct standard for lenders in 2020, effective July 2021.
