Despite global economic uncertainties, South Africa’s new vehicle market remained resilient in April. New vehicle sales increased by 11.9% to 42,401 units compared to April 2024, despite fewer selling days due to public holidays. Passenger vehicle sales led the growth with a 16.9% increase to 30,101 units, while light commercial vehicles grew by 3.2% to 9,654 units.
