The Women’s Living Heritage Monument in Tshwane, meant to honor women’s role in South Africa’s history, remains closed after years and millions spent on construction. Unveiled in 2016 by former President Zuma, the monument features statues of iconic activists. Despite being incomplete, it stands as a tribute to the 1956 Women’s March.
