Three mavericks who started South Africa’s largest data centre company

Teraco, South Africa’s largest data center company, was founded by Abraham van der Merwe, Joe Botha, and Matthew Tagg, all telecoms veterans. Tagg started Webafrica in 1997, later partnering with Bryant and acquiring Frogfoot in 2007. Frogfoot was founded by Botha and Van der Merwe in the same year they graduated from Stellenbosch University.
