Former Credit Suisse boss Tidjane Thiam faces citizenship row in Ivory Coast. Thiam, also leader of the opposition party, vows to fight for his place on the presidential ballot. Ivorian court ruled him ineligible due to acquiring French citizenship in 1987. Thiam asserts his Ivorian nationality, denouncing the ruling as politically motivated.
