Toll fee hikes 2025 – how much more you’ll pay to drive to Joburg, Durban and Cape Town next month

Sanral will raise toll fees by 4.84% starting March 1, 2025. N1 tolls for light vehicles will range from R7.20 to R108, and N3 tolls will be between R20 and R347. This increase is lower than last year’s 6.25%. Sanral’s GM, Vusi Mona, stated that the revenue is crucial for road maintenance, operations, improvements, and debt repayment.
