The US has granted refugee status to 54 white Afrikaner South Africans, who may arrive in Washington DC soon. Donald Trump suspended the refugee settlement program in January, leaving many stranded. Trump signed an executive order in February to grant refugee status to Afrikaners. US officials are arranging a charter flight for their arrival at Dulles airport, with a press conference planned.
